Patient Representative
Duties and Responsibilities: Patient representatives work with health care
providers to adjust to the patients and their family’s needs. They take
complaints from patients and then inform the staff of this to correct what the
patient is complaining about to provide a better service. Resolve patient
problems. Patient representatives work in hospitals, nursing homes, other
long-term care facilities, and in public health agencies.
Salary: $20,000 -
$40,000
Education: Students still in
high school should take the most challenging classes in English, math, science,
and science. Most employers hire
employees that have a college degree or background but it is not a
requirement. Experience may also help
you when applying for the job.
I would not like to become a patient representative
because I am not really good with handling complaints, it would probably be
overwhelming.
