Radiologic Technologist

Duties and Responsibilities: Radiologic Technologist use machines such as x-ray machines to treat illnesses under a doctors prescription. They must explain the treatment that is going to be done on the patients . They are also required to set up and maintain the equipment as required.  May also assist physicians on difficult procedures. They work in hospitals, clinics, medical laboratories, nursing homes, and in private industry.

Salary: $24,000 - $36,000

Education:  If still in high school students should take the most challenging courses in math, English, and science. A GED or high school diploma is required to join a two year program that is required. This program is offered in hospitals.

Reflection: I would not like to become a radiologic technician because I would like to be in charge not just an assistant.
