Periodontal
Duties and Responsibilities: A periodontists is a dentist that specializes in prevention, diagnosis, and treatment for periodontal disease (a severe gum disease). They also specialize in the placement of dental implants such as crowns. Periodontists also specialize in the treatment of oral inflammation basically anything that has to do with ones gums.
Salary: $97,000-$241,000
Education: A Bachelor’s degree is required in order to apply for dental school. Dental school will take about 6 years to complete the first 4 working in laboratories the last 2 working hands on in a dental office. You must also take a state examination in order to completely become a periodontist.

Reflection: I would not like to become a periodontist although work with teeth interest me working with ones gums does not. They do have great pay but I would be miserable working where working isn’t fun.
