Physicians then you this information to treat the patient.  Some sonographers specialize in certain areas of the such as the brain, heart and pelvis. They also inform their patients of any of their past or present medical procedures. They usually work in hospitals.

Education: If still in high school student should take the most challenging courses in Math, Science, and English. Sonographer programs offered at a variety of colleges and hospitals. This program can go anywhere from one year to four years depending on work expierence. You must pass an examination to officially become a sonographer.

Reflection: I would like to become a sonographer although they make very minimal money it seems interesting to me how sound waves can produce an image. And I love babies so I would like to become an ultrasound technician specifically treating the pelvis.
