Duties
and Responsibilities: Nursing
home administrators take charge of nursing homes and long term care facilities.
They are the supervisors for personnel, financial, medical, and nursing
administration. Their places of work are usually nursing homes sometimes large
corporations that control several facilities . Some of the nursing home
administrators are involved in teaching and research.
Average
Salary: $40,000-$55,000
Educational
Requirements:
In high school students should take the most advanced classes in business,
science, math, and English that their school offers. Requirements differ but
the most common seen are a Bachelors degree, an internship program, and a
passing grade on a comprehensive exam.
I
would not like to become a nursing home administrator because it is not really
a line of work that interests me. I want a career that has to do more with
medicine, rather than just organizing.
