Specialist- Sanitarian
Duties and Responsibilities: Sanitarians inform the public of ways to keep clean.
They also work on ways to improve water quality and community environments. Collect
and analyze samples.

Design or manage
sanitation, disposal, and water systems.

Oversee disposal
of infectious wastes.

Develop and
manage prevention and education programs.
·
Evaluate and
identify health hazards and ensure compliance with regulations.
Salary: $25,000-$50,000
Education: If
still in high school you should take the
most challenging classes in Math,
Science, and English. A bachelors degree is required with environmental
health or environmental engineering.
Reflection: I would not like to become a sanitarian because its not the salary I would like to have and the job it self does not seem interesting. I can help the community in staying clean as a side thing.
