Social Worker

Duties and Responsibilities: Social workers help families solve their problems financially, emotionally, and physically, such as child abuse, or domestic violence. They usually work with younger people , homeless, or the mentally ill. Most social workers work for the government in offices, hospitals, clinics, prisons, or the courts.  Some also work in nursing homes, group homes, schools, or businesses.

Salary: $20,000- $42,000

Education: If still in high school you should take the most challenging courses in Math, English, and Science. A bachelors degree in social work is minimum.

Reflection: I would not like to become a social worker because I do not believe that I could handle the situations that come with having the job. I would not act rationally towards the abuser.
